Foreigner w/ Whitesnake and Jason Bonham at Walnut Creek

I missed the 60’s. I missed the 70’s, the 80’s, most of the 90’s…but I’m here now. And holy smokes, Being here, Being there, just rocked my world.
I think I’m beginning to understand a few elements of Rock & Roll. Maybe I’m late, but I believe I got a taste of Rock this night with the great and awesome Foreigner, Whitesnake and Jason Bonham’s fully charged and powerful performances. I arrived at the venue that night as a music photographer, but I left that night a rock addict. I want more! When are they coming back?!!!

_MG_0595I managed to capture a little of this eargasmic experience using my trusty Canon 5D2s in cooperation with the Canon 14mm 2.8, the 16-35mm 2.8, and 70-200mm 2.8 lenses. We all settled finally on exposure settings of a shutter speed of 320 at F2.8, ISO 400. I didn’t have to fix much in Lightroom other than cropping, but I played with the shadows and blacks to bring out the light a bit. That’s about it. _MG_0451

_MG_0721…and Whitesnake, they changed my perception of lenscraft. I don’t know what that means…but I just don’t care anymore.._MG_0060
