I was lucky enough to get to Slightly Stoopid’s “Schools Out for Summer 2018 Tour with special guests Stick Figure and Pepper at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina, and I just can’t say enough of what an outstanding job all the bands and crew put forth for an outstanding performance, and for providing almost a religious experience of joy and happiness for the audience.
I love these people. I’m sure you’ll feel the same after going through…well it’s more of a book then a “concert shoot”…maybe more like a mandala. Go through this book/shoot/mandala whenever you want to feel better, when you want to smile…ya just can’t help it!
I can’t really pin down the camera settings for this one. We were all over the map. But the hardware I brought was the three Canon 5D Mark2’s with the Canon 15mm Fisheye 2.8, 16-35mm 2.8 and the 70-200mm 2.8 lenses. As for post processing, the key features in Lightroom for this shoot were that I brought the highlights way down to get more detail in the sky during the day, and the shadows way up for the evening backstage shots. Lots of favorites in this one. I really opened up my editing to fill out the story. It was a very positive, upbeat, lovely story and I wanted you to get all the juice, so I left a few extra shots in to brighten your happy smile.
